About the role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our fast-paced and entrepreneurial retail finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining high levels of accuracy, efficiency, and service while supporting key financial operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, and is committed to delivering consistent, high-quality results.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coding and processing all non-stock invoices received in the business in multi currencies
- Controlling and monitoring the authorisation of invoices in line with Company guidelines
- Regular liaison with budget holders to obtain status updates on unapproved invoices
- Telephone and email correspondence with suppliers
- Assisting in the management of departmental email inbox and handling each email promptly and correctly
- Develop and maintain relationships with key internal and external contacts
- Regular reconciliation of supplier statements
- Regular monitoring of the ledger and resolution of queries
- Raise payments via online banking for suppliers, HMRC, international staff and authorities
- Processing of daily direct debits taken from bank account
- Ad hoc report and analysis
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Numerate and analytical
- Attention to detail
- High standards of accuracy
- Strong team player
- Excellent communication skills
- Good knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel
