About the role
As Accounts Receivable Manager, you will play a key role at the heart of our Retail and Ecommerce business, taking ownership of incoming payments and leading the end‑to‑end billing and reconciliation process. You’ll oversee accounts across our UK and European concession and marketplace partners, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and strong financial control throughout this 1‑year fixed‑term contract.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitor aged debt, resolve late payments, and escalate issues where appropriate
Produce and clearly communicate detailed monthly debtor reports to the senior finance team
Manage daily posting and allocation of bank receipts, sales (Retail and Website), and partner accounts
Reconcile payments to sales data across all tender types, channels, and systems, including month‑end sales and margin reconciliations
Deliver daily cash and receivables reporting, maintain the cash flow monitor, and provide cashflow forecasts
Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, card processors, concession and marketplace partners, and external auditors
Support system maintenance for new and existing accounts and provide cover across credit control functions
Assist the Senior Finance Manager and liaise with internal teams on fundraising and other finance activities
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED:
Five years’ experience within either accounts receivable or cash management
Analytical and methodical
Proven track record of maintaining strong controls
Excellent communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritise workload
Advanced Excel user
Confident to challenge existing processes and develop improvements
Excellent reconciliation skills
